Walter Lampl Walburt Burnished Gold Chatelaine Pin & Brooch

$110.00

Two pins, a small bow and a larger, more abstract form are connected by a double chain. Both pieces are plated with a softly burnished gold-tone. The color of the gold is shaded toward pink, and very warm, but not as red as rose gold. This style of brooch can be used as a sweater guard, pinned on both sides of a cardigan, or it can be worn on one side only, with the pins at different heights and the chain draped. Marked WALBURT. This is the rarest of the Walter Lampl marks, in use from 1944 to 1947. Safety clasp holds well.

The smaller pin measures 7/8 x 1-1/ inches. The larger pin measures 1-7/8 inches in diameter. The shorter chain measures 6 inches long.

Excellent vintage condition.
