Walter Lampl Gold Filled Blue Zircon Flower Brooch

$225.00

This large, lovely, Retro Modern brooch is thickly plated with yellow gold. It is accented by 2 collet-set, faceted, light blue semiprecious gemstones, each measuring 6 mm. in diameter. These stones test strongly positive in the zircon or diamond range with a gem tester and appear to be blue zircons, which were more typically used by Walter Lampl in his solid gold jewelry. The bold, fluid lines of the flower, leaves, and scrollwork are elegant and timeless. Marked WL 1/20 12K G.F. Safety clasp holds securely.

Measures 2-1/2 x 3 inches.

Excellent vintage condition of brooch, stones, and plating. Pin stem has been bent.
