Vintage Tryon Toy House Horse Bookends
These charming bookends date to between 1949 and 1975. They were produced by Tryon Toys, based in Tryon, North Carolina. Each of the bright blue wooden bookends has an applied cut-out of the company’s signature toy horse on wheels. The horses are painted white, with delightful black markings and red bridles, saddles, and wheels.
The bookend fronts measure 6 inches wide, 5 inches high, and 3/4 inch thick. The bases measure 6 by 5-1/2 inches.
Very good vintage condition, with minor wear to paint.
